Why do we talk about Backlinks and use it in Digital Marketing?
A backlink is simply a link from one website to another. If you link to another website, then they have a backlink from you. In the past, backlinks were the major metric for SEO. Outside domains that point to pages on your domain; essentially linking back from their domain to yours shows value in your website from that website. Backlinks are also referred to as incoming or inbound links.
